FRESH SEASON TOASTED PECANS
 
Oven preheated to: 225°F
Cake Pan or Cookie Sheet
1 LB Fresh Pecan Halves
Stick Butter
Salt
 
Spread the pecan halves one layer. Slice the butter into thin pats and place on top of the pecans(for 1 LB use 6-8 thin pats). Put into 225°F preheated oven on middle rack position for 20-25 min total. Stir the halves once the butter melts completely. Keep a close eye on them after 15 minutes. Remove when dark golden as shown. Salt and allow to cool 15 min.
